Syd Rich: It's finally May!

First of all, may the fourth be with you (for the star wars fans) and happy cinco de cuatro (for all the arrested development fans)
Is anyone else freaking out that it is already May?! This semester just flew by and now I've only got 3 more days of classes and then finals begin! I'm surprisingly not stressed out (yet) but my yearly grey hair scare has come to pass as of Friday so that's a sign that I am starting to get stressed.

Thursday
During my english class I gave my presentation on the bohemian lifestyle in cinema, I thought I did alright but I was just happy to have gotten it over with. Later that day when I was walking to work I ran into my english teacher and she said that I did really well on my presentation and that I had great stage presence. So that pretty much made my entire day and I am feeling confident now that I am 98% sure that I will end up with an A in this class.
On Thursday night Steph, Annabeth, EJ and I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I was super stoked to see this movie because Spider-Man is my absolute favorite superhero, and Andrew Garfield is just a bonus. While we were waiting for the movie to start, of course we had to take pictures with the movie advertisements.

I absolutely loved the movie. I jumped, I laughed, I cried, and cried again, and again and again. Annabeth and EJ were major critics of the movie but I thought it was very well done.

Friday
Friday was my last day of all my discussion classes (insert confetti dropping). Dollar lunch was pizza! I got free food from catfest! Oh and Avery came to Tucson to stay for the weekend while my mom and dad and McKenzie were doing a Girls Camp Overnighter certification thing.
So after work I relieved EJ and Rory from Avery duty so she could come play at my house with Annabeth and Steph. The party started very quickly when Steph showed Avery how to put a balloon under her shirt and make her look pregnant. Eventually we all had pregnant balloon bellies and had a dance party.

After our dance party exercising we were all a little hungry, so we went and picked up EJ then went to In N Out. After Avery gave us all In n out stickers and ate one bite of her burger we dropped EJ, Avery and Annabeth off at EJs place while Steph and I went to go see a Midsummer Night's Dream for our Theatre Appreciation class.

I've seen this play numerous amounts of times... but I have never seen one where Puck was so... weird. I honestly felt so awkward watching her but she was also very entertaining. Overall it was a good performance but I am still dreading writing an essay about it for class on Tuesday.

After the performance we went to pick up Avery and Annabeth from EJs place. Avery was sleeping... but not for very long. As soon as she was transferred over to me she was wide awake so we had to watch High School Musical 2 in order to get her a little bit tired. After about 5 bathroom trips and 3 water trips she finally went to sleep.

Saturday

The first activity of Saturday was to take trip to the disney store to get Avery a new princess. Little did we know that at the exact time we arrived there was about to be an unveiling of the Frozen products. I'm not sure if you all know, but it is very difficult to get an Ana/Elsa doll at any store, they are always sold out. So we really lucked out getting to the store at that time and we were about to get Avery an Elsa barbie.

After that major accomplishment we went to Jimmy Johns for lunch, where Avery only ate the turkey off my sandwich leaving me with bread, lettuce and mayo... yuuuuummm...

When we drove back home Avery started to undress Elsa (which is a major problem for Avery. She likes to play this game with her Barbies where she strips them all down and they have to fight for a boyfriend). We are trying to get her out of that habit so EJ told her that she couldn't take of the clothes and she started crying and cried the whole way back to my house and would not talk to any of us. Eventually her anger ceased and we all had a siesta before we ended up having a pool party with our kiddie pool that we have in our backyard. Unfortunately Avery did not pack a swim suit so she went skinny dipping while Annabeth, Steph and I did indeed have our swimsuits on.

Then we came back inside to marathon a few episodes of Jessie and ended up having some crazy fun with Ben Kevin.

Later we went to Macaroni Grill because Steph had a gift card (party hard) and Avery ended up getting a free pizza! There were also lots of prom groups there so I felt inclined to take a selfie with them, and Steph felt inclined to take a picture of me taking a selfie with them.
