I am married to the one, the only, my very best friend Zachary Walton
We met in high school, were "things" in 2012, started dating in 2014, engaged & married in 2017!
We are currently living in the place that has my heart, Tucson!
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in journalism in 2016, and now I do pretty much nothing to do with journalism besides a few freelancing jobs here and there. I work full time at a backdrop company, that I LOVE! And I work part time as a photographer shooting families, couples, seniors and weddings!
I am sandwiched in the middle of five kids, and my siblings are my best friends! Them and my parents made it pretty much impossible for me to get rid of my maiden name completely, so Syd Rich will live on forever!
I am a member of the LDS church #mormonmafia
And since I do dabble in a political post every now and then, I am indeed a filthy liberal
I am a bit of a road trip addict. I love traveling near and far, and can't stay in one place for too long. In 2015 i was itching so bad to do something, and I made it my goal to travel to all 91 municipalities in Arizona in one year! Thanks to the help of my friends and family and their cars I accomplished the goal one day before 2015 ended. Some of my fondest memories with my friends were made on those trips!
I believe food is better simpler so my hot dogs will only have ketchup and my pizza will only be pepperoni
I started this blog when I first started University in 2013 to keep all my "moms" updated on my life, and now I feel guilty if I don't post, so this blog will last as long as the guilt does haha!
I don't proofread any of my posts, and there's at least 30 grammatical/spelling errors in each post. Is that a sin for someone who studied journalism? Maybe, but you'll get over it!
