1: My brothers, even though a lot of the time they know all the right buttons to make me agitated, they've found ways to make me smile whether it be by a weird "prank" Rory pulls at the institute or by EJ listening to things I have to say. It's very convenient living just 8 blocks from your brothers when you're at university.
2: April is for abs (Which is group my Aunt Toby started). My goal of going to the gym more often this year has slowly crashed and burned but this group motivates me to get supah hot abs and actually be fit... not just skinny.
3: Jury Duty. Because of my teachers jury duty I didn't have an english class yesterday which gave me time to catch up on a lot of assignments
4: Steph Shaw because she's one of the most supportive people here in Tucson. She knows me well enough to know that when I'm sad or on the verge of crying I don't need to be talked to, I just need people with me. And she's been doing the dishes a lot at the apartment and that's awesome.
5: Facetime because sometimes texting is just not good enough in relationships... you can't see your boyfriend yawn in a text message. Zach's gonna kill me for this picture...
6: My mom because she wants me to come home just as much as I want to come home every other week.
7: Buzzfeed because they provide me with articles/lists/quizzes/pictures that can make me go from sad to happy in an instant. The most applicable one for the week: http://www.buzzfeed.com/tanyachen/pun-dog-puns-that-will-instantly-brighten-your-day
Dakota can attest that I have never laughed so hard than at that dogs face
8: Project FOCUS. Because not only does this program help me live here in Tucson but it brought a lot of amazing people into my life that make me smile on a daily basis
9: The fact that I have the agency to have my own beliefs and opinions. And that I have the freedom of speech to defend them
10: Root beer. In my endeavors to minimize my drinking of so much mountain dew, root beer (barqs) has kept me awake
When in times that I feel stressed or sad or angry it helps to have things like these, yes even root beer, to make my days a little bit easier.
Also note that I have a whole lot more to be grateful for these are just my weeks terrific ten.
