Unfortunately Steph caught on to this awful sickness that was going around at my house over the weekend so she doesn't have all the strength to go to school. She was a trouper though and made it to school Wednesday and does plan to go to one of her classes today to take a quiz or something. Also, it seems like Lauren has caught on to the sickness as well, leaving me and Annabeth to be the only survivors right now. Fortunately for me I have my mothers two cure-alls, garlic pills and Kick-Ass Immune...
So Monday I went to all of my classes, went to work same old same old. Nothing really happened that was super exciting that day because after work I planted myself on the couch to work on my Theatre Appreciation creative project that was due the next day. I didn't do anything except that and watch How I Met Your Mother's new episode. But I did finish before 10 pm so I still got a solid amount of sleep... go me.
Tuesday was a rather off day to me... I went to my Theatre Appreciation class to turn in mine and Stephs projects and to learn some good old theatre appreciation stuff, but class was "cancelled" the only thing we had to do was turn in our projects. So that was one hour and fifteen minutes that I had free time, so I tried to watch the movie that I was assigned to finish for my English class later that day... unfortunately I couldn't find the movie online, so I gave up and got bored and decided to go home and just not go to school for the rest of day... I know that seems a little dramatic but I think everyone deserves a day off every once in awhile... plus Lauren was an advocate for it so how could I not.
So when I got home, Steph was still sick in bed, so I decided to clean the living room and sweep the kitchen and do some laundry and go grocery shopping. It was probably my most productive day, and I skipped school... ironic a little bit.
Later on Tuesday I went to chipotle with Lauren for the roomies weekly chipotle run and then I worked on homework and classwork that I missed in my french class that day.
On Wednesday I got my philosophy test back! This semester I am trying super hard to get good grades and to study a lot because of my downfall of good grades last semester. A week ago I got my anthropology test back and I got a B and I was going crazy up the walls that I got higher than a C... So you can only imagine what I did when I got an A, yes an A on my philosophy test (also I would like to note that this philosophy test, is not multiple choice, it's only essay questions). Not only did I get a 90/100 on this test, a lot of other people didn't do so hot on the test so the professor to decided to curve our grades with ten points, so if you all know basic math that means I got ONE HUNDRED PERCENT on my exam... seriously greatest moment of my entire life, never have I ever been so excited to get an A in my life.
Compared to that moment, the rest of my school/work day was a bore... so fast forward to Wednesday night.... basketball game against Cal. If you a follow Arizona basketball you know that Cal was the first team to beat us, and robbed us of our number one seat in the poll... so this was revenge... and boy is revenge sweet. The first few minutes were a little frustrating but then the boys stepped up and by the end of the first half we were up by 20, what a beautiful night it was there at McKale. What made the night even better is that my Dad was there to watch the game too!
I absolutely love being in the ZonaZoo and raging so hard with my favorite basketball buddy, Maddy! You will see us next year at basketball games in crazy costumes like some other kids in the zonazoo.
When I got home from the game I finished my FAFSA and applied for a scholarship from my Dads fraternity. When I finished that I worked on my never ending french homework while watching one of my favorite movies, Sydney White.
So it's been a pretty solid week so far. Today is my last full day of classes and tomorrow is Friday, I cannot wait for the weekend!
