Also since University is set up different than my high school was, I figured I should do another blog post because I had mostly all new classes today compared to yesterday, so that is exciting.
I will rewind to Wednesday night, which was honestly one of the greatest nights for multiple reason... and since I'm sure you all hate when I go into so much detail (wink wink) I will be very vague. So it was great cause I can no longer sing a famous Beyoncé song, my best friend told me some awesome news, and Steph and I bonded. I think by the time I fell asleep my heart was about ready to jump out of my chest from pure joy.
Tuesday morning 8:30 AM I wake up to get ready for school. Lauren convinced me the night prior to drop my Art History of the Cinema class so I switched to a class with Steph called Theatre Appreciation. I was very intrigued by it when Steph was going through her syllabus to me, and it fulfills a general education I need so I figured why not take it. It's going to be an awesome class because we have to go see plays and read plays and write reflections on them and other fun stuff. I've been rather nostalgic of my days in theatre in high school so this class will help with that. Also a girl that I have been in plays with since the 8th grade is in my class too! I'm super excited. The teacher is cool and the building it's in is even cooler! Here is a picture of me and Steph before class started.
Then I went to my French class, which I have 4 days a week, so nothing is new with that.
After French I went to lunch with Steph and EJ at Taco Bell of course and had some pretty good conversations. I am noticing a trend that my conversations I have with people lately have been pretty deep and actually have meaning to them. I guess this is growing up? (Blink 182 reference, there ya go)
Then after lunch I went to Institute which I have with just about the coolest people! It's Doctrine and Covenants from section 76 and on... I am already super excited because section 76 is in my top 5 favorite sections in the D&C. I can tell it's going to be a good class, I love the kids in my class and my teacher Brother Bauer. Oh I even played the piano today...
After Institute I went to my English 109 class. It's my only honors class so I was kind of nervous but after going today and meeting my teacher and going through the syllabus, I think it will be challenging but in a good way that will help me grow as a writer. Who knows if I actually end up liking this class I can move English up on my list of majors that I am actually considering.
Then I went to the institute, walked Natalie to McKale center because she has a great husband that got her tickets to the game, walked home, went to the bookstore with Steph and Annabeth, went to the institute again, went to EJ/Rorys apartment so Annabeth could meet Rory and then came back to 1320 to watch the game and eat dinner.
The game wasn't much of a game because of how bad we schooled ASU, but it still feels glorious to win! We are still number one baby, and nothing feels better than that.
Tomorrow I don't have any of my usual discussion classes because we haven't learned anything in my lectures that would require me to actually discuss in a discussion class. So i get to sleep in until devotional at the institute and then dollar lunch! This also means that I kind of have a four day weekend since there is also no school on Monday, nothing greater than that.
