Puppy Therapy

It's official, I am half way done with my first semester of college!
Since we have hit our half way mark, midterms are starting to come and go. None of my teachers are calling the tests that are happening the next two weeks "mid-terms" so I feel a little less stressed.
As midterms can create a lot stress for students, today there was a stress reliever on campus... this stress reliever is called puppy therapy. If you are Steph Shaw or have a soft spot for animals in your life, then this is the perfect therapy for you. Pretty much you just pay two dollars to cuddle with puppies... As I am not head over heels in love with puppies I did not want to spend two dollars to cuddle with them... Steph on the other hand would have been willing to pay more. This was literally Stephs heaven, and I came along to take pictures of it.

Today has overall been a very good day, not just because of the cute little puppies that Steph got to play with. As I discovered earlier on in the semester that college is not as easy to BS as high school was, my quiz grades were not very impressive the first time around. I wish I would have realized that college is more work a little earlier on but at least I learned that lesson sooner rather than later. Anyway, I knew when round 2 of quizzes/midterms came around that I would have to try a little harder. In my anthropology class, we took a test on monday and today the grades were posted. The teacher lectures us about how the average on this test were way lower than the one from the last test, but that she was proud of the select few students who did increasingly better on this test. Can you guess who one of those students were? That's right, this girl typing on this blog. I was so happy I really wanted to scream, unfortunately I could not because it was in the middle of class... Then the puppy therapy just added to the happiness.

I am looking forward to the rest of this month, there is so much going on! This weekend I'm going to a haunted corn maze and my family is coming to Tucson for a football game! There hasn't been a home game in awhile so I am pretty stoked! OH AND Soukey is getting baptized on Saturday! I am seriously so excited! Then next week is Averys birthday and my friend Trevors birthday and I am probably going home just to chill for the weekend for once, and then the weekend after that is all sorts of halloween and YSA craziness! I am so excited because when I have a lot of things going on in my life, time tends to go by faster, and why might I want time to go by faster? Because next month I am turning 18! I will no longer be "jail bate" woot woot! And then once my birthday passes the next exciting thing is Thanksgiving and even more important... Black Friday! And then in December comes the end of the semester, my brother Rory coming home from his mission, EJs graduation and just that amazing feeling of Christmas! There is so much happening in the upcoming months I can barely contain my excitement. Life is pretty dang good right now!
