Cheers To The Weekend

So Friday started off as most Fridays do... after my class ended at 3 my visiting teachers came over (shout out to Amanda and Sawyer, you guys are rad) for a little bit. After visiting teaching Steph and I went to take another round of engagement photos for Natalie and Taylor. The setting for these pictures was downtown Tucson (which in my opinion is the hippest part of Tucson). During a clothing change I managed to sneak pictures with my favorite weirdo Steph Luc and her inability make a peace sign
She's kind of a cool cat, I mean just look at how cool she looks.

After a successful photoshoot (and getting paid in Mountain Dew & Costco poppyseed muffins) Steph (Shaw) and I went straight to the institute to meet up with some cool kids and go to Terror in the Corn all the way in Buckelew Farm. It cost $20 to go through a haunted corn maze which eventually led to a normal corn maze where you tried to look for checkpoints. The haunted part was THE SCARIEST THING IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. If any of you know me, I'm not one who loves physical contact with another person, but Steph and I were linked arms in terror the entire time. Just imagine the following in a corn maze: baby doll parts, clowns, PITCH BLACK rooms, chainsaws, scary people EVERYWHERE, loud noises, things falling from the sky, small spaces, dark tunnels and so much more. It was so scary Steph even jumped on top of me at one point.  Once we got through the 45 minute haunted maze of pure death we made it to the regular corn maze. We were given a map but we had no idea where we were on the map so we were pretty helpless walking around looking for checkpoints. We finally found people who knew where the exit was and were able to get out. For some of the group (myself included), we got our full moneys worth from the haunted corn maze alone, but the other half of he group disagreed so they went back into the corn maze to get all of the check points. Before we parted ways we managed to take a few group photos. After we parted ways Steph, Jenk, Amanda and I went to the taco shop for a delicious Tucson Classic dinner. I had never been to the Taco Shop before but it was actually really good, definitely a new favorite place to go here in Tucson.

Now here comes Saturday.
I woke up rather "early" (I put this in quotations because my early 8:30 AM is probably a luxury sleeping in) to clean up the apartment a little bit before my family arrived.
At about 10:21 AM my family arrived. After multiple dance parties (you know the usual Richardson activities) my Dad went to his fraternity meeting and everyone else went to Rubios for lunch! Then after lunch we went to Reid park for some good old family (and Steph) bonding. Here are some fun photographs that my mother took on her brand new iphone 5C.

It was a very eventful trip if you ask me, I don't think I have ever had so much fun swinging on swings... or have ever been so sore from swinging on swings.
After the park we all came back to 1320 for a little siesta. I'm always the only one that never takes naps. Instead I just did the usual surgeries on my ipad.
Soon it was pre game time! Everyone besides the mother and Avery headed over to campus for the fan zone were we get tons of free swag. This weeks swag package included tatoos, yoyos, fans, sunglasses and junior investigator stickers (EJ took a lot of pride in that sticker).
Then it was game time!
I love football games for two reasons mainly... for watching Arizona win football games... and to dance. It's always a lot more fun when I get my groove on and everyone around me gets their groove on too! Luckily I got to witness both of the reasons why I love football games. It was an intense match against Utah but in the end we came out superior... and of course I supported the team by dancing all the way until the very end. Natalie taught me some new moves that I am probably going to be using at all the upcoming dance parties. I even made it on the jumbotron... that was really exciting!
After the game we walked back to the apartment, spent a little more time with Avery and my mother and my sleeping sister McKenzie before they had to head back to Mesa. The night concluded with the infamous two hand wave we do every time we say goodbye.
Now here I am, updating my blog and facebook and twitter, seriously ready to pass out.
