Sunday night was the third Canadian night at 1320. This Canadian night featured perogies and nanaimo bars! EJ made the perogies and Ali made the nanaimo bars, both of which were delicious. This Canadian night also featured more Americans than Canadians, but in the good Canadian nature everyone was welcome.
Before everyone arrived, EJ and Taylor came over cook the perogies. While EJ was cooking, Taylor did his usual roughhousing and ended up getting stuck in this position on the couch...
During the dinner Steph went to sit down at the table. Little did she know that there was a cockroach on the floor, which she stepped on and then immediately jumped on top of the chair.
Here is a group shot with Marcus, Zac, Clary, Victoria, Cole, (me), Taylor, EJ, Matt and Steph!
Here is a another group photo but Ali and Clary switched places so Ali could be in a picture.
If you were curious as to who is actually Canadian in this group, then I will tell you, and if you weren't curious you can just keep scrolling. So the Canadians (of blood) include Marcus, me, EJ and Matt. But we count Ali as a Canadian because she served her mission there.
Everyone else came for the free food and dessert and to listen to some Blondie.
On Monday it was Avery's (my little sister) birthday, or happy day as she would say! I was kind of depressed because her birthday was on a school day and I got off work too late to try and go home and make it back in time to get a decent amount of sleep. But I did get to talk to her on the phone and I got to facetime her... You all would be surprised at how skilled a three year old can be at using an IPhone, she seriously knows how to do more on an Iphone than my mom does.
It was so awesome to see how happy she was that there was a day dedicated to her. She showed me all of her cool pink balloons and she tried to show me her using all her new toys, but I could really only see her face, not the actual toy.
It's so weird that Avery is three years old, I can't really even remember her not being apart of my life, which is really weird because a majority of my life she has not been apart of. We are 14 years apart but she is seriously my favorite person to talk to, just because she is always so happy to talk to me. Even though it may be bad to say, I miss her the most out of my family (sorry Mom), and I get so excited whenever she comes to visit. I can't wait to go home on Friday so I can celebrate a belated birthday with her! Here is Avery three years ago!
Rory and Avery were the best of friends, hopefully that will be the same when he gets back in December.
