Countin' Stars

Warning: This is much more a religious post than it is a post to help you stalk my life and probably steal my identity

As I was scrolling through my twitter feed the other day, I saw a tweet that was retweeted that said "I never want to view God as the Creator who created, but rather as the Creator who is creating..." I didn't know the person who tweeted it but I loved it so much that I didn't think twice before I hit favorite. You can call me crazy, but I have never been sold on the story that God, through Jesus Christ, created everything that has existed, currently exists and will exist in a mere seven days. I do believe so much more that they are continually creating, shaping, molding everything not only on this earth, but in the universe.

Obviously, the Creation is something that my head cannot be wrapped around in my mortal body, it's going to be a concept that I don't fully understand until after death. But regardless of how the universe was created and how long it took, the one thing I, personally, cannot deny is that God has created this earth and all of it's beauty for us because He loves us. For me, every time I look at the stars I am reminded of His power to create and the love that is behind it.

I have been wanting to practice astrophotography for quite awhile now, and I finally got the opportunity to try it last night. Zach drove me out to Lost Dutchman State Park and I took a whack at it. I am happy with how they turned out but I am definitely going to need some more practice trying to capture these beautiful light fixtures.

I spy an airplane flying in the sky

I found that it's very hard to stand still for 30 seconds to make yourself visible for a photograph
