Zonazoo Stays The Entire Game

Last night was the first football game of the school year, and boy was my dad excited.

The use of my mothers word "fabulousness"

Since the game was on a Friday I first had to go to school... and by school I mean go to the institute and to work. But it was awesome to see everyone at the institute in the new zonazoo shirts. Obviously that "coincidence" called for a photo.

Then there was Friday devotional which is now called Doctrines of the Church, and then dollar lunch, and then I worked for an hour or two.
After work I came back to 1320 to get ready for the game and I get a call from my mother who is on the side of the road in Marana with the rest of my family because the car over heated, so Steph and I went to the rescue with some antifreeze.
All was well once we got there, no one had died of a heat stroke, we poured the antifreeze in and we were all on our way back to Tucson to go to the game (we even made it back before the gates opened for zonazoo).
Let's take a moment to talk about the waiting area for zonazoo. So we have to stand under the stadium and wait for the gates to open (they open an hour and half before game time) AND IT IS FLIPPING HOT DOWN THERE. The only comforting thing about being down there for forever is the fact that you know you're not the only one sweating pounds off of you. You may ask, why do you go so early and not just go when the gates open... well that's because us mormons (who all go to the game together) have a favorite spot (30 yard line on the south side) and we like to be as close as possibly, so in order for us to be as close as possible we have to suffer through the sweat.
Fun fact: zonazoo actually filled up (I don't think that's ever happened) and there were mobs trying to get in. So shout out to the freshman class for being the biggest class U of A has ever had.

So eventually we get inside and get to our seats (a little further back than I would have liked to be, but still at the 30 yard line) and I try to spread out a ton so I can save a seat for Rory who was working and would be late to the game.
Eventually the game began and it was a FANTASTIC time, I love the whole atmosphere of the football games.

Oh the adventures that came along with this picture. We first asked an older guy to take a picture for us and apparently holding a phone and pressing a button is really difficult stuff because it was an awful picture... not even because we looked bad, just the quality was awful. Then we asked a younger guy to take a photo and the above picture was the result and million times better than the other one.

During half time student athletes went out on the field and three of those girls were in our ward, Lexe and Jaden on the soccer team and Audrey on track & field... you obviously can't see them but I promise you they were there.

As the game went on a lot of people left, but I wasn't complaining because that meant more room for me and Lauren to dance. By the third quarter we had so much space and were rocking out hard core... having space gave us the energy to make it through the game... well we left 1 minute early... but that's close enough to the entire game for me.

In case you don't watch football arizona KILLED unlv, the score was 58-13! I love football games, especially when we win.
Going to this football game got me even more excited for the rest of the school year and all the adventures that await!
After the game, Rory, Lauren and I walked back to my house to see my family for a little bit before they headed back to Mesa and as soon as they left I was ready for some shut eye.
