Getting Jiggy With It

Alright, yesterday was my first full day in Tucson and I think it was pretty eventful!
I woke up at a decent time (8 am) ate some breakfast, watched TV, bought a textbook (online) and then Lauren arrived! We now had 3/4 of the beezies at 1320!
Lauren later took me to the post office and caught me up on her crazy and fun summer life! Why did I have to go to the post office you ask? Well because I received a little piece of paper from the post office via EJ that said I had a letter from HONDURAS that needed to be picked up... AND WHO WOULD SEND ME A LETTER FROM HONDURAS? None other than my bestestest friend Sadie Johnson.
It cracks me up that she has a bunch of Jesus stickers.
I e-mail Sadie every week so everything in the letter I heard weeks ago but it's so nice to get something she wrote and drew on. Just a little piece of Sadie with me in Tucson.

Later, Annabeth and I went to the institute so she could get her parking pass. We some some of our friends there but it was not nearly as hopping as it is going to be next week. We also got summoned by Sister Stout (the "sister" in the missionary couple) to learn a 70s line dance and then teach it at the dance lesson later that night. Lauren showed up too to learn the dance, and right as arrived I left for work... well I left to go wait at the drop off to start work with Tyler for the UA Kickoff. Lauren, Annabeth and Soukey joined us as well.

Although the party got rained on really hard, we were able to get a free coke, coke t-shirt, coke magnet, a tatoo and Tyler rode the mechanical bull.

We were most excited for the free food there, because y'know free dinner.... but no it did not suffice as dinner. It was the dinkiest little slice of pizza that was hard and not that appetizing. Much disappointment.

After I finished my shift Annabeth came to pick me up and then Steph arrived at our house!! All the beezies back together again. But our visit didn't last very long for Steph was going out to dinner with her Dad and the rest of us were going 70s dancing.
I very much enjoy dancing, throw a dance party and you already know I'm in the middle of the dance floor. But there are certain things I just really do not enjoy or rather that I just cannot do. For example, I just cannot let the boy lead, especially if they are not assertive and don't want to try any cool moves. Also dancing with strangers (sweaty strangers) really isn't my thing. BUT what I do love are line dances, and the one we learned to Stayin' Alive is now one of my favorites.
After the class we (Lauren, Annabeth, EJ, Soukey, Rory, Olivia and myself) went back to my house so EJ could complete his ALS ice bucket challenge since he was nominated by Annabeth the night prior. Just as I was for Annabeth, I got to climb up on our roof and dump a bucket of freezing water on EJ. Here is a link to his video (if you aren't friends with him on facebook I apologize you may not be able to view it)

After he got dried off we all just chilled in our living room doing numerous things that all involved social media. We are #sorrynotsorry for the blow up of notifications Matt McLeish.
