Roomie Date and Mothers Day

On Saturday I spent the whole day with my fantabulous roomies well... 2/3 of my fantabulous roomies. Lauren was out of town for her sisters wedding reception in Idaho.
The first item on our to-do list was to go go-karting in Marana. This place was kind of sketch because there was no one there and I thought I would get kidnapped and no one would hear me scream. Regardless of the sketchiness of the place the go karting was a freaking awesome fun time. Our groupon paid for four races. Annabeth won the first round, Steph won the second and I won the last two. I am pretty much became queen of drifting with how much I was doing on the track to try and catch up to people. There was one point where I actually lapped Steph (I would like to note, she wasn't going slow according to her own free will, her kart was running out of gas the last race which forced her kart to not move very quickly) right as I lapped her she like barely tapped my kart and I started spinning out of control, it was crazy but I got control of my kart and was able to pass her again with no trouble.

The next party thing we did was go to good will to choose crazy outfits for one another. I made an outfit for Steph, Steph made an outfit for Annabeth and Annabeth made an outfit for me.

Yeah we cute.
After our goodwill adventure we went to Costco for some lovely Saturday afternoon food sampling. We went at prime time we got tons of samples ranging from cheesecake to B12 pills.
Steph loves the swimsuits at Costco

Then we decided to go on a spontaneous hike to 7 falls hike. Unfortunately none of us were wearing proper clothes or footwear for the hike so we didn't make it up to the falls but it was an interesting experience nonetheless.
Later that night we went to a graduation party for Clark and Michael. There was a bonfire with smores, delicious food, music and the best part of all... Just Dance.
Apparently EJ and I are really competitive when it comes to Just Dance... who woulda thought. But I would just like to point out that I beat him at every song I played with him with the exception of Blurred Lines. I am queen of Just Dance... self crowned of course.
It was definitely entertaining to watch other people play as well, especially Rory, he's a hoot.
On Sunday it was mothers day and I got to go home to spend time with my fabulous mother.
My mom is seriously the greatest woman in the whole world and is my best friend. She is always ready for a party and brings the party wherever she goes. She's taken me to countless concerts ever since I was probably 7 years old (and of course has always provided me with more than enough ear plugs so I do not lose my hearing). She is my number one fan and is always supportive of my decisions no matter what they are. She has been a great example to me with her testimony and her faith in Jesus Christ her entire life. She wants me to come home every weekend just as much I want to, and it always willing to make it happen. I don't know what I would do without her, everything I am is because of her and I hope to be even half as great of a mom as she is to me! I mean if you have even been in a room with all my siblings you know it takes a special kind of person to be able to tame us.
