And yes since it was the first day I had to take a first day pic
I am so dang little.
I was very nervous the night before school started but thanks to some friends, some friends moms, my roomies and my own parents I was actually able to sleep at night. Honestly my biggest fear was getting lost, or not being able to make it to class on time, since I only had ten minute gaps between classes. But I was very fortunate to not get lost and the only struggle was not getting ran over by the psycho bicyclists/long boarders/skate boarders. My first class was at 10 am and my last class ends at 2:50. On mondays I take french 201 (that class is the absolute bane of my existence. I haven't taken french in over a year so it is definitely a challenge for me) anthropology, linguistics (which I just happen to have with my brother), and intro to weather and climate change. Besides french, I have never taken any of these classes so it will certainly be interesting. On Tuesdays I have institute and french. And then on Friday I have discussions for all my classes besides french which I don't have at all on Fridays and Intro to weather and climate change because it is another discussion. I felt very comfortable in all of my classes and the only one I was overwhelmed in was my french class. Luckily I have my brother around to be a little bit of a tutor for me. I am really hoping that french starts coming back to me ASAP.
Last night was FHE and it was combined with my entire ward, in essence it was a speed dating activity. I got to meet a lot of new people in under 15 seconds. (To all the folks at home, no I am not engaged, and I did not fall in love with any of the boys as most of you predicted). But I did meet a lot of cool people that I am excited to be friends with this year.
Today is a very happy day! I had my job interview at project FOCUS and it went so well I got hired on the spot. I even got to shadow Taylor for a while to get the feel of things and it was legen... wait for it... dary (That one was for you Taylor).
It's Tuesday and many of you teenagers know that it's Pretty Little Liars night... I personally did not know that but my roommates all love the show. And it's a very big night here at 1320 because it is the season finale, and everyone is excited. The roomies are excited for the show and I am excited to watch their reactions. I don't mind watching PLL because I make them watch Big Brother three nights a week and they only make me watch their show once a week. It's clearly a fair trade.
