Birthday Extravaganza

So as you all should know it is Steph's birthday today! Here in Tucson, we take birthdays VERY seriously and we love to party. Since there was a church activity on her actual birthday, we had her party yesterday (Friday).
After school/work on Friday EJ and I went to run some errands for the party, we made a run to Costco to buy food and then to target and wal mart to scope out some speakers to invest in for the party and for parties in the future. Once we had gotten everything we needed I came back to the apartment for only a little while before Steph and Lauren came to pick me up to head over to the church ballpark to set up for the party.
If you haven't noticed, when it comes to birthday parties we usual do a rocking dance party with some karaoke, but Steph wanted to mix it up for her birthday, instead we did a paint fight! We were separated into two teams and we each had two colors to throw at the other team, our "weapons" were our hands and sponges and water balloons.. and eventually the entire buckets full of paint (two of which were poured onto the birthday girl). Even though it was very cold it was extremely fun! After the paint fight we all warmed ourselves us with a dance party (I know you were all worried that there wouldn't be dancing, but don't you worry there was). We ate some cake and some chips & salsa and mingled and had a really good time!

Bryce got Steph 2 fish and 2 dollar bills for her birthday

Even when it's not our birthday, Richardson's will always find themselves desperate for attention on top of tables

But eventually everyone come and parties with us

After cleaning up and clearing out of the ball park a few of us went back to our apartment to watch Zoolander... but we were all very tuckered out and it was a real struggle to make it to midnight to celebrate Stephs actual birthday. Once midnight hit, everyone cleared out and we went to sleep.

When we all woke up and got ready, Steph, Lauren and Annabeth went to go get their nails done while I stayed at home and worked on heart attacking our bedroom door.
After I completed that project EJ, Rory and Shannon (EJs bff from high school) came to pick me up so we could go meet up with my roomies once they were done getting their nails done for lunch at Ra. We were really early so the four of us just explored the La Encantada mall until they showed up. Once they arrived we ate! Everyone got sushi except for me and Shannon because we are rebels who do not get sushi at a sushi restaurant. We also all got to share Stephs free birthday dessert fried ice cream!
After lunch I stuck around with my roomies to go to a couple stores in the mall to buy Steph a new phone case since she was going to get her new phone later that day! After she picked out the perfect phone case we went to an at&t store to get her new phone... we didn't have much success at that store and some horrible customer service so we decided to take Stephs business to a different at&t store, where we had a much better experience and got Stephs new 5s speedy quick!
After that adventure we headed over to the church activity zombie day party extravaganza. The food they were serving was chili cheese dogs, but I don't like those so I just had a hot dog BUT THEY HAD NO KETCHUP... it was very frustrating and very difficult to eat a plain hot dog. After dinner there was a guest speaker who talked about survival tips.. I think... and then after that there was dessert and a bomb dance party. We danced for a solid 2 hours straight, but our little group loves to dance and party so much it didn't even seem that long. It was a great way to celebrate Stephs birthday, and we even got everyone to sing happy birthday to her! Eventually we got tired from interpretive dancing, dancing on picnic tables and shaking our hips so much Annabeth, Steph and I decided it was time to leave.
But what a great day and weekend it turned out to be! It was seriously one I will never forget and I hope Steph enjoyed it as much as I did!

P.S Happy birthday to Nathan Lunt as well!
