On Friday after all of my classes Steph and I drove to Casa Grande to pick up my sister so she could spend the night and hang out with us for a little while. Since Steph and I beat my mother and McKenzie to Casa Grande, we decided to go to Old Navy where Steph found some rocking sales and made a new friend.

And of course it would not be very Richardson of me not take a kissy lips picture with the sister.
Taylor and Natalie came over for a little while and EJ came a little later too. It was a very chill night. When we were all too tuckered out we decided to go to bed, unfortunately McKenzie did not want to sleep on the pull out couch or in any of my other roommates empty beds... so she shared my twin size bed with me... it was a very interesting experience that brought flashbacks to the days we shared a queen size together... let's just say I am not one to be touched while I am sleeping... and Kenzie loves to cuddle.

After lunch Kenzie, Steph and I took a trip to the new Wal Mart that opened near us. I have fallen in love with this Wal Mart for one reason and one reason only....
Isn't it beautiful? It was heaven for me. I never knew love until that moment.
After Wal Mart we decided we wanted to do some thrift shopping... and we could not have chosen a better day to go thrift shopping. We went to Buffalo Exchange and they were having this giant sale outside their store... everything was one dollar... ONE DOLLAR. Since it is Buffalo Exchange there was a lot of... interesting clothing items but we all managed to find at least one thing to buy.
Look how cute she is with all of her thrifty finds.
After popping some tags at Buffalo we decided to go on an adventure at Mt Lemmon. Due to the government shut down all the cool National Forest spots we wanted to go to were closed, so we had to improvise by stopping somewhere random on the mountain and find some adventure. Here are some of the photos that were taken:
McKenzie is such a sassy model

As we were driving down Mt Lemmon we wanted to roll the windows down while blasting Ellie Goulding. McKenzie was the only one that didn't have her hair in a ponytail so she kind of paid the price.
We had one last adventure at In N Out where McKenzie discovered how frat boys dressed and then we headed back to Casa Grande to give her back to the Mesa folk.
I am very happy she got to come to Tucson for part of the weekend and entertain Steph and me while our roommates were gone. Thanks to Steph and my mother for driving her and me around everywhere. And to EJ for buying us lunch.
