Now imagine this staring at you while you are straightening your hair... she was standing their for awhile before I even noticed, creeped the crap out of me.
The first night that I had my sickness, Steph and I couldn't sleep. Steph just stayed up until 5 in the morning watching food boy on Netflix and then went to sleep for five hours. I went to sleep around midnight and I woke up every hour because the dreams I had were stressing me out so much. I can't remember the first dream I was having but the second one told me that I had to build an arc before 11 am and every time I woke up I would look at the time on my phone and freak out and get out of bed and then I would realize that it was only a dream so I went back to sleep. That continued the entire night. Needless to say it was not a very fun night.
My sickness has gone through many stages but it is currently at the point of where I can barely talk and I have to blow my nose every ten minute, with some random coughs here and there. Hopefully I will be getting over this sickness soon.
Enough of the sickness for now... On Wednesday it was Clarks birthday so on Friday we went and celebrates. It was his 26th birthday party and can you guess where we went? Obviously chuck e cheeses! Now imagine a bunch of adults storming into chuck e cheese... we looked like pedophiles and especially me because I carried my camera with me. Here are some pictures of the night:
He was a very happy birthday boy!
After the birthday party we had a movie party at our apartment. The featured movie of the night was Now You See Me. I didn't get to watch all of it because half way through I realized that I has homework due in a little over an hour so I had to run upstairs and do that. But from as much as I watched it was a good movie. There were a TON of people so it was SO HOT, and being sick did not make the situation anymore comfortable. Here are some understatement pictures of how crowded the room was.
Also try to imagine me and three other people sitting on a couch that caused every single one of us to have swamp butt... yum.
After the movie some people cleared out and all the cool cats stuck around to play an interesting round of the question game. It was very entertaining and perhaps a new couple will arise from the amount of questions that were asked about them.
So that was the night of my terrible sleep.
Which brings us to Saturday.
I was exhausted.
But I was very excited because my family was coming. My mother, sister, brother, roomies, Taylor, Natalie and I hit up In-n-out while my dad stayed at the apartment to watch some college football and to sleep. Everyone loves having Avery around. Lauren was so happy because Avery said that Lauren was her best friend... that broke Stephs heart. But no matter how much everyone loves Avery, she will forever be terrified of Taylor. It is his goal to get a hug out of her by the end of the season... I'm not so sure it is going to happen.
So here are some pictures of the adventures we had with my family.
After spending some time with my mother Steph, EJ and I met up with people from the institute and hit up the pre game party where we got free jimmy johns sandwich and cup and a coupon to wendy's from spinning their magical wheel of coupons.
This is a picture of my brother and I at the pre game event. I was doing my infamous move "the Sydney" it works for just about any song if you ask me.
So after the pre game stuff we headed over to the stadium and waited to get into the stadium for and hour and a half and then once we got in we waited for another hour for the game to start... it was an interesting experience being sick and all. I was able to make it through the first half but as soon as half time hit I was ready to go home because my feet were about to give out on me, so Steph tagged along and we managed to get in another hour of Avery time.
Which brings us to today... We have church in an hour and I'm still deciding if I'm well enough to go. But that is all for now, here is a lovely picture of me from this morning to brighten y'alls days.
OH PS! MY SCHOLARSHIP MONEY CAME IN AND I AM SERIOUSLY SO HAPPY!
