Labor day = no school = shopping day = happy Sydney!
Lauren, Steph and I hit up the Tucson mall on Sunday and got some mighty fine clothes due to some mighty fine sales. After we went shopping we arrived fashionably late to a pool party, ate a little food, said hi to the party people and continued onward to EJ and Taylors apartment. In order to get into their complex you either have to have a very long arm to unlock the door or hop the fence. Lauren decided to hop the fence, and in doing so she ripped her shirt. Luckily it was a shirt she wasn't too fond of so she just laughed it off like a true champ. Here is a photo to show her sportsmanship.
Tuesday rolled around for classes. When we woke up it was FREEZING COLD in our apartment. It was such a struggle for everyone to get out of bed.
Steph and I were the only ones that actually made it to our classes on time.
Then I had classes.
Then I had work. I spent the majority of the day with Joren in which he casted many spells on me and hypnotized me to the point that I was "blind". Joren is such a cool cat, he even turned Steph into a vampire today.
After work I come home wanting to do some relaxation and silly Annabeth drops a clothespin down the lint trap (apparently if that happens and the dryer runs it will light on fire and we will eventually have no place to live. So we (and by we I mean Steph and Annabeth, I was the designated photographer) had to take apart the entire back of the drying machine... only to find out that wouldn't work. So they just flipped the entire machine over and Steph finally got it out! Here are some photos that documented our experience.
This is when Steph got the clothespin out
I thought I would share one of my shopping finds from monday. Old navy was having a sale... on socks! I absolutely love socks so I was pretty dang excited. The featured socks on todays blog is my fox socks. Tickle your fancy?
Alright back to Tuesday.
Steph made us all some delicious chicken sandwiches. I even let her put something green on my sandwich... sprouts! But halfway through my sandwich Steph made a comment about the sprouts that did not exactly want to make me finish the green things on my sandwich.
Later that night we had an ice cream party! Made a run to safeway to get the best stuff around.
Steph had to stand on the fridge in order to get the one she wanted.
Annabeth had to get on her tippy toes in order to get her desired ice cream.
This is how I maintain my weight. Get the smallest ice cream possible. (It's really cause it was the cheapest one in safeway)
OH ALSO! Steph got a job so this is us celebrating the both of us being in the working class of 1320!
And that leads us to today!
Remember when I said our apartment was freezing cold? Well now 1320 is really starting to feel like a sauna. Every pore in my body is sweating. We had to bring all the fans from our rooms downstairs and EJ and Taylor had to bring over their fan from their apartment. IT IS STILL FREAKING HOT.
But on the bright side of things my Tucson BFF (even though he is not willing to admit it) Taylor, brought me my favorite drink, mountain dew voltage! Now we are all crowded in the kitchen, holy body heat, while EJ is making us dinner.
Tomorrow the AC guy is coming and I cannot wait!
Really I cant wait for winter time where I can just wear sweaters and many layers of clothes instead of the minimal amount of clothing to wear in front two mormon boys.
I'm excited to come home on Friday for Sydney Baugh's wedding and to see my lovely family and friends.
I am also very excited for Big Brother to start in 15 minutes!
I hope everyone is having a fabulous time!
