I had to wake up very early this morning to go to a CLICK class, the earliest I have woken up in a long time, 6:45 AM. (Fun fact: I saw my friend Taylor from high school while I was walking so that was the nice part of waking up early). Anyway, the class is like to introduce you to the clicker program thing they have and just do some introducing to some things they do at the university before school starts on monday. Well it was very early for me so the moment they said "we will be emailing this presentation to everyones catmail so you don't have to take notes" I just crashed and went to sleep. I am not a very pretty sleeper so I will not be very surprised if random strangers were taking very beautiful pictures of me. Then after the presentation was over I went to the bookstore to buy a few more books (man are they expensive) and then went back to the apartment.
So my brothers roommate Taylor is freaking awesome and is hooking me up with a job as a student mentor for students with special needs. He helped me email the director of Project F.O.C.U.S in order to get me in and I was then invited to come to the orientation today where I learned a lot about the Project and it really got me excited and make me want the job even more. (Here is the link to the website so you all can learn more about the project http://projectfocus.arizona.edu). It is a really awesome job with great pay and I would even get to choose my own hours! All I have left to do before I am officially apart of the Project is go through an interview. Hopefully all goes well and I get the job. I'm stoked!
Tonight is my very first throwback movie night at my brothers apartment. The featured film? Mission Impossible. All I need is a red bull and I am ready to go.
I am getting more and more excited for school to start, and especially for the first football game next week against NAU. I am ready for all the new adventures that await at the university.
As you can tell it was a day where I was actually detached from Steph, it was a very odd feeling.
